Dr Aymen Khumri – MRCGP, DCH, DRCOG, DFFP, MBBS (London, UK)
Born and educated in London, Dr Aymen Khumri graduated in 1996 gaining her MBBS from the University College London Medical School, UK. She attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2003 and holds UK postgraduate Diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Family Planning & Sexual Health.
Currently she divides her time working between London and Kochi. She is an Associate at The Medical Practice, 48 Wimpole Street, London a highly regarded centre of medical excellence in the UK (Harley Street, London, Guide 2013). Dr Khumri is the Community Paediatrician at the Vigyan Valley Education Centre for children with learning disabilities.
Dr Khumri is an advanced yoga instructor and yoga therapist with over 14years experience of working with individuals and small groups in the UK and India. She has a special interest in researching in the medical benefits of yoga and runs a similar sister organisation in London. (www.yogadoctor.org.uk)
When she is not busy working or travelling, she enjoys sailing and baking cakes and cookies with her sons!
Joe Joseph – BSc, MA
Joe Joseph is an experienced youth and community education consultant with over 30 years experience of lecturing, training and managing national and local charitable organizations in London. He taught on Youth & Community Development programmes at De Montfort University (UK) for over 15 years and has subsequently managed and evaluated a variety of innovative charities promoting international volunteering and local-global citizenship. Joe brings to the IMP considerable managerial experience and the skills to develop and promote community health programmes.
